The 2008 Lucerne is a 4-door, up to 6-passenger luxury sedan, available in 6 trims, ranging from the CX to the Super. Upon introduction, the CX is equipped with a standard 3.8-liter, V6, 197-horsepower engine that achieves 16-mpg in the city and 25-mpg on the highway. The Super is equipped with a standard 4.6-liter, V8, 292-horsepower engine that achieves 15-mpg in the city and 22-mpg on the highway. A 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims. The 2008 Lucerne is a carryover from 2007.
